]]>In this episode Ed Normand shares all the insights on, business partner and wife, Sally Hogshead’s book How The World Sees You where he discusses the science of personal fascination.
In her book Hogshead provides you with a step-by-step guide that shows you how to describe yourself in a few short words, build your own tagline, and uncover the true description of your unique personality. The goal of the book is to help you differentiate yourself from others, communicate more effectively with peers, know what makes you more valuable, and become more aware of who you are.
This book is perfect for entrepreneurs who are becoming more active at networking events, building an online profile, or are beefing up their personal resume yet need help describing themselves to others.
This book is showing you how the world sees you when you are communicating and then takes it to the next level to show you how you can become the best communicator you can be.
When Sally wrote the book she did not intend for it to be read in one sitting from front to back. The book is divided in to three parts and the first part describes the science of fascination. Section two is the catalog of the different personality archetypes that each person has. And the third part describes taking how the world sees you and turning it into how the world sees you at your best.
The takeaway is in today’s world it doesn’t matter how you see the world what you got to first understand is how the world sees you. Once you understand how the world sees you at your best then you can build your communication.

The third part of the book is really the best part of the book because that’s the transformational part of the book. This section gives you the tools to bring your leadership home. There is a section about team building; how to use the assessment and understanding of the advantages to build the best team.
